Let’s see. I'm Turkish-American: born in Turkey, but left as a baby and grew up in Huntington, West Virginia. I'm pretty American in values and general world view. Turkey, though, is my heritage: I speak conversational Turkish, and the culture impresses my views of family, friends, hospitality and tastes in music, food, and good luck charms. I go back every other year or so for a week to see my extended family and to stock up on limonya (an awesome eau de toilette)! I live in New York City and I love it. My two incredible sisters live nearby, and I love tasting all the culture, excellence, and diversity the city offers. (I'm a foodie and opera buff!) I work with a great team at my job; it's busy, but challenging and rewarding. What else? I'm an INTJ, am close with my awesome family, and frequently talk with hands. I believe in working hard, discipline, and duty, but I work to live and have found a pretty good balance. I love making the Turkish home-cooking meals I ate as a kid. I am pretty romantic, can be a dreamy idealist, and am fairly risk-seeking (skydiving is on my hit list!). I have a lot of friends but only a few close ones. Hm? I heart my baby cousins, laugh most at total silliness, always have lemons in my fridge; indulgences are long showers and enjoying the happy sleepy feeling after waking up on a lazy Sunday morning. I'm a travel nut, too. That's a little of the story of me - looking forward to getting to know you, too!
