I can lose myself singing with Sezen Aksu one minute and then flip over and start humming to Eric Clapton the next, I might be reading an autobio on some long lost hollywood legend one day and then start a book on Ataturk the next..in other words I am your complete bi-cultural package. I appreciate much of the ease of the society in which I live but Turkey, my 'Turkishness' and, in particular, Izmir, is what runs through my veins...what runs though my mind? That is a question you may regret you ever ask! On a lighter note now (:), I love a good laugh, (and I really do have a great sense of humour:), a lot of compassion and reason, and a wondeful little life filled with people I cherish. I love my work and the place I call home, I'd stick Izmir in the middle of it if I could but it's too small (my lounge room, that is:)...instead I make the most of my two worlds...
