hope this site helps me find my turkish sweetie...
So... who am I? A 39 year old divorced father of 2, in good physical shape, active, professional at work, an outgoing personality and not afraid of humility. I like... positive attitudes, outdoors, sports, new things (I'll try pretty much anything at least once), simple things (like respect and being polite), travel, challenging things (mentally and physically). I am of Turkish decent, actually born in Mersin but have lived in Canada my whole life. When raising a family, how important is it that your kids learn to speak Turkish?
Pretty important. My parents worked hard to maintain our culture as we grew up in Canada. I try to make sure my kids spend as much time as they can with their grand parents and cousins... and I am hoping I can find a partner to help as well.
Describe the perfect evening.
A perfect weekend would include great meals, a good work out with a hike or a game of some sort, a couple of cocktails overlooking a lake and some good rest and relaxation time.

Outdoors. Cottages in summer and ski hills in the winters.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
No, I believe i a strong attraction at first sight but love involves too many things that can't be determined with sight alone.
How many kids would you like to have?
3 I have 3 wonderful kids.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
Ensure that no child anywhere ever had to deal with hard ache.
What do your friends like about you most?
My good spirit and general sense of optimisim.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
My inability to sit still.
What gets on your nerves?
Negative people.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Morals, values and ethics. If we are aligned there the rest will always work itself out.
What's the best age to get married?
No such thing as ideal so I won't answer.
What turns you off?
Controlling people and insecure people.
What turns you on?
Balance. The ability to put things in perspective and focus on what is most important.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Building a life with someone that shares similar perspectives on life with me, someone who will be my partner, my equal and my life mate in all aspects.
