When raising a family, how important is it that your kids learn to speak Turkish?
Its important to be aware of ones cultural heritage. Going to Turkish school was an non-negotiable extra-curricular activity for me when I was growing up and I'm very thankful for that. Now living in Istanbul I'd hate not be able to express myself for want of better Turkish.
