I am a writer and literature professor who will be moving permanently to Istanbul in September. I lived in Ankara from 1995-2002, where I taught at Bilkent University. I tend to be quiet at first, until I get to know someone. I spend a lot of my time outside--hiking, fishing, running--and spend my nights writing and reading (2-3 books a week).
