Man of Permata seeks Guzel Guz

I am not Turkish, but a big part of me comes from Turkey. I spend very much time searching for pieces of that history, that are part of me. My Anneanne gave me the wonderful Turkish cuzine and my Buyukbaba gave me the music and the tales of Hodja. Even though I understand very few of the lyrics, Turkish music reaches very much into me. So, 50 years later, I still have a deep love for my roots in Turkey. I seek friendships to share and to learn new things about Turkish life and Turkish people. I come to this site with total respect for all that is Turkish. I am a visitor to your culture. What governments do is one thing and how the people are is another. I accept all accounts as a student of the "town" and the "village" of the world. If, in communicating on this site I find a companionship or more, that is something to consider.
