When raising a family, how important is it that your kids learn to speak Turkish?
I would ideally like to have a bilingual wife and bilingual kids. The turkish language is a gift my wife and I can give our children and it also keeps the turkish tradition alive.
Describe the perfect evening.
My perfect evening is doing anything...with the one I love.
Describe your perfect weekend.
I like to listen to live music in small local venues. I especially like acoustic guitar music.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I'll tell you when it happens to me.
How many kids would you like to have?
I would pray for one healthy boy and one healthy girl. This topic obviously needs to be discussed with my wife as well as myself. Depending on our families financial situation, taking into account college tuition, braces, and cars. It can be an expensive proposition. Every additional child is a blessing.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
I would abolish the outrageous stupidity called war! No matter how much we advance the primtive mentality of violence persists in our society.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
I've learned alot about life and people , but mostly about myself.
What do your friends like about you most?
I stick to my word.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
They tease me about my high morals.
What gets on your nerves?
People who are pushy, selfcentered, rude or inconsiderate.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Two people must know eachother's likes, dislikes and act accordingly. You must know how your partner thinks. Consideration of eachother's feelings is crucial! Think before you speak. Think before you act. Feelings are very tender and can easily be hurt.
What's the best age to get married?
Different people mature at different ages. Only then are they ready for marriage. It is not fair for one spouse to have to be the parent as well as the mate.
What turns you off?
A woman that chatters endlessly about nothing and has only selfish motives.
What turns you on?
A woman who is dedicated to her man, her family and her home.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Insallah, happy, healthy and content no matter what I'm doing or who I'm with.
