Looking for a friend with a kind heart
I teach business English at a local college and enjoy working with young adults. I enjoy some gardening, reading, swimming, biking, spending time with my granddaughter and conversations with friends. I am somewhat reserved and introverted and prefer to meet people slowly. I have travelled a bit and am interested in other cultures and languages. I also do a bit of yoga and meditation. I am happy alone but sometimes wish I had a special friend.

My children are grown up.

I would create a society in which everyone was non-violent, cooperative, and environmentally responsible.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Married twice and divorced twice. Raised three children and have two granddaughters. I've lived in a few places in England and Canada and worked hard to educate myself.
What do your friends like about you most?
They like my tolerance and sense of humour.

My disorganized office.
What gets on your nerves?
Stupid people.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Kindness.
What's the best age to get married?
There is no ideal age.
What turns you off?
Intolerance, bigotry, violent behaviour, bad temper, sexual perversion, and macho behaviour.
What turns you on?
Intelligence, humour, kindness, and true, quiet masculinity.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Teaching English as a second language somewhere.
