Insights
When raising a family, how important is it that your kids learn to speak Turkish?
Since I'm not Turkish, that would be entirely up to my wife.
Describe the perfect evening.
A romantic dinner for two at a chic restaurant.
Cuddling by the fireplace talking about sweet nothings.
A relaxing drive in the country with that special someone away from the hustle and bustle of life.
You get the idea...
Describe your perfect weekend.
I work most weekends but if I get time off, I like reading in a cafe.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Definitely!
How many kids would you like to have?
I have it all figured out but it's complicated:
Between 2 and 4 by these criteria:
One boy and one girl, or
One boy and two girls, or
Two boys and one girl, or
One boy and three girls.
But really, it's all upto the woman.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
Give hope, compassion, self-respect and self-confidence to every man, woman and child. The rest will take care of itself.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Too many to recount. Been to over two dozen countries with friends in each of them. Tried several dozen types of cuisine. Participated in all types of interesting sporting activities. And in medicine, every day is an adventure.
What do your friends like about you most?
Loyalty, kindness, generosity.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
Not getting enough sleep or sunlight.
What gets on your nerves?
Whining by spoiled people when faced by others who are truly suffering. Watching people not trying to achieve their potential. Not succeeding is acceptable if one gives his or her best effort but when one doesn't even try, then one is a true failure.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
True friendship, intimacy, kindness, sharing the kinds of secrets that only a coupel could keep.
What's the best age to get married?
For me, between 34 y/o and 35 y/o.
For my spouse, between 21 y/o and 36 y/o.
What turns you off?
Read "What get's on my nerves."
What turns you on?
A gentle whisper in the ear. A woman who plays innocent but who is really naughty as sin.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
In medical practice, with a successful and happy wife and the children that we share.
