Dear Gentlemen: what my cryptic headline means is *I live in Istanbul*. In Turkey. Turkiye'deyim! So if you are in, say, New Jersey, please don't bother, unless you plan to be here, like, soon. Thanks! I am a visual artist from the U.S. I came to Istanbul as a Fulbright fellow for the 2010-2011 academic year to study traditional shadow puppetry and Turkish language, and stayed on to work here for a while. I have always been very interested in Turkish culture. I'm also at a time in my life when I am seriously seeking marriage (and children) in the near future.
