When raising a family, how important is it that your kids learn to speak Turkish?
Since I'm biracial and so is my daughter (and she's more mixed than I am) and neither of us speak Turkish, the language is not that important to me. What is important, however, is knowing about our culture and honoring it.
Describe the perfect evening.
I have to say that I'm a homebody! I just like to kick back at home, watch a movie--maybe make dinner for someone special. I love to have someone hold me, and my perfect evening would have to involve me being held by someone who cares for me enough to talk to me all night.
Describe your perfect weekend.
I work on the weekends!
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Absolutely! But I think that maintaining that kind of love takes a lot of effort, since those loves tend to be the most passionate.
How many kids would you like to have?
Two or three, not more than that. I want to have few enough kids that I can devote lots and lots of time to each one.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
I would stop the genocide and the starvation! There's no reason for people to be dying of hunger today; even without magic powers, we have the resources to end that kind of suffering!
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Ask me and I'll tell you what you want to know.
What do your friends like about you most?
I think they like that I'm dependable. I'm always the first to offer a ride or money or a place to stay. Also that I'm funny (at least, I try to be funny!)
What do your friends tease you about the most?
The comments that I make without thinking! Sometimes even I can't believe the words that come out of my mouth.
What gets on your nerves?
Liars, cheaters and people that disrespect themselves by acting ignorant.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Honesty!!!
What's the best age to get married?
Any age, as long as the love is pure and real and we're in it 100% together.
What turns you off?
Mainly ignorace, but I also hate when a person is too cocky and acts like they're better than they are.
What turns you on?
Too many things to count!
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Hopefully married! I want to be on the road to having a normal life, and be sharing it with someone who loves me.
